History

Dan Romo received a bachelor of Fine Arts from The University of California Santa Cruz in 1994. From there, Dan spent 8 years at Artworks Foundry in Berkeley. After years of gaining expertise in the metal working field, specializing in patina, Dan opened up his own shop, Studio Romo in 2000. Dan focused his energy on patination, small batch fabrication and sculptural restoration and conservation work. He has worked with artists across the world as well and local shops in the San Francisco Bay Area.
